COVID-Free Queens!

COVID-Free Queens! is an initiative that provides tailored, culturally, and linguistically responsive COVID-19 prevention education across Queens in New York City. COVID-Free Queens is spearheaded by NYC Health + Hospitals, and is done in partnership with community-based and faith-based organizations rooted in the diverse neighborhoods of Queens. The messaging is focused around physical distancing, wearing a face covering, keeping hands clean, and getting tested for COVID-19. Outreach efforts will include social media and on-the-ground activities including flyer and poster distribution, PPE distribution, and virtual town hall meetings among others.

Partnering organizations were tasked with developing their own identity while maintaining the standard messaging provided by NYC H+H. Along with the branding, I was also tasked with developing outreach materials such as posters, postcards, stickers, and social media content for Public Health Solutions. These materials were then compiled into a digital toolkit made accessible to all partners to use.
