A material exploration of Tyvek, a high-desnity polyethylene fabric created and trademarked by Dupont. Some of Tyvek's beneficial qualities are that it is waterproof, tear-resistant, breathable and also recyclable. As an owner of several pairs of Converse All-Stars, I realized that canvas is a good absorbent of moisture and is not suitable for the rain. By applying Tyvek, you don't have to compromise style for staying dry.
